Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2023: Format
The format of the men’s tournament mirrors that of the women’s competition. It consists of 16 teams split into two pools, which are reshuffled in each of the three weekly phases.
At the conclusion of the initial pool phase, the top eight teams in the standings will progress to the final round.
The rankings of the teams will determine the draw for the knockout stages, including the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final. Poland secures an automatic qualification for the Finals as the host country.
