Rally Estonia Schedule
The traditional WRC Rally Estonia opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, July 20th, in the center of Tartu, followed by the first stage.

Historical Significance of Rally Estonia
The history of Rally Estonia dates back over 11 years ago when Silver Kütt, an experienced co-driver in seven WRC rallies, shared his idea with his friend Urmo Aava, a former WRC driver. Together with Tarmo Hõbe, a marketing expert, they named the new rally “Rally Estonia” and began taking the initial steps towards organizing it.
Despite the initial disbelief in 2009, Rally Estonia has steadily grown and evolved over the years, eventually becoming a WRC event. The inaugural Rally Estonia took place in 2010, and the first winner of the rally was local hero Markko Märtin, a five-time winner of World Championship rallies during his WRC career.
With the support of Märtin, Østberg, and the Latvala family, Rally Estonia maintained high competition, setting a challenging standard for the organizers. From 2014 to 2016, the rally was part of the European Rally Championship (ERC) and was voted the best ERC rally of 2014. In addition to local stars, Rally Estonia has attracted numerous top rally drivers from around the world, including WRC competitors and ERC Champions. The rising young talent Oliver Solberg, who won in the R5 class last year, has also participated in the event.
From 2018 to 2020, Rally Estonia witnessed the dominance of local heroes Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja, who became the 2019 World Rally Champions. However, in 2021, Kalle Rovanperä made history by winning the rally and becoming the youngest competitor to achieve victory in the WRC.
