Adidas and Major League Soccer (MLS) have recently disclosed the prolongation of their collaboration and uniform agreement. The extension, spanning several years, signifies that the prominent German sportswear company will remain the official provider of apparel to both the league and its teams. Since the league’s establishment in 1996, Adidas and MLS have cooperated closely. This fresh agreement is valid until the conclusion of the 2030 campaign.
This renewed collaboration between the two entities will facilitate the development of soccer, as well as promote soccer culture and communities. Jointly, MLS and Adidas will introduce new initiatives that promote inclusivity, empowerment, and inspiration to upcoming players and fans, with a focus on the 2026 World Cup and a lasting legacy beyond it.
In line with the extended agreement, Adidas will persist in functioning as the official sponsor, footwear supplier, and apparel provider of the league. Moreover, the company will recognize exceptional young soccer players by being the presenting sponsor of the MLS NEXT Golden Ball (MVP) and MLS NEXT Best XI awards. In addition, Adidas will furnish the official match ball for all MLS properties, such as MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT.
Furthermore, the German-based company will also continue to supply MLS Clubs with all jerseys, footwear, training equipment, and sideline items. The new deal includes increased funding for community engagement and youth development.
