The NFL’s growth in the UK has been on the rise, with a surge in fan base, more London games being played, some successful Brit players in the league, and even an academy and foundation established. This announcement shows how serious they are about taking the sport to new heights in the UK.
But enough about that, let’s get down to the fundamental question everyone wants to be answered: who’s gonna be hosting the Super Bowl on ITV?
The game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles is set to go down on Sunday. And the good news is, it’s gonna be available to watch in the UK.
You’ve got a few options to choose from. If you’re cool with free TV, ITV’s got you covered with live coverage that you can also stream on ITVX. And if you’re in Scotland, you can catch it on STV. Sky Sports will also broadcast the game on its Main Event and NFL channels.
For those keeping count, this will be the fourth time ITV has aired a live game this season, with the previous three being the UK games.

ITV Presenters for Super Bowl 2023
For the first time in her career, Laura Woods is stepping up to the plate to lead the Super Bowl coverage this year. She’s been a significant player in ITV’s NFL coverage throughout the season.
She’ll be joined by two-time Super Bowl champ Osi Umenyiora and ex-NFL star Jason Bell, who fans of American football might recognize from their time on the BBC’s coverage of the sport.
These three have been tearing it up on ITV’s weekly “The NFL” show all season long, and now they’re bringing in a fourth heavy hitter: former NFL running back Maurice Jones-Drew. They’ll all be on location in Arizona for the big game. Darren Fletcher will provide commentary alongside London-born former NFL star Jack Crawford.
Sky Sports Presenters for Super Bowl 2023
Sky’s got you covered for the Super Bowl, too, if you’re a subscriber to their sports package. Neil Reynolds has been holding down the fort all season long, leading the charge. Jeff Reinebold, the director of player development at the University of Hawaiʻi, and Phoebe Schecter, a former Buffalo Bills coach, join him.
These three have been killing it on Sky’s NFL coverage all season, but now they’re bringing in a fourth big name: Ryan Fitzpatrick, a former NFL quarterback. The play-by-play action will be brought to you by Fox Sports, with Kevin Burkhardt behind the mic, Greg Olsen adding some color commentary, and Mike Pereira breaking the rules.
